The Music Vault II (MII) stores 3000+ CDs in Wave. Additional storage is easy to add with external USB hard drives.
The MII will play back at the sample rate limits of your DAC. Additionally the Music Vault II will play with any of the networked players available.
The MII is whisper quiet due to its fanless power supply and fanless processor.

Music Vault II Ultra
The Music Vault II Ultra (MIIUltra) is a brand new Music Vault with Maximum internal storage employing auto duplication. The MIIUltra carries on where the MII leaves off.
The MIIUltra doubles the amount of storage from 2TBs (or 3000 CDs) to 4TBs (6000 CDs).
And twice the Ram...16GB.
The MIIUltra is nearly as fast as the M7 with aproximately 80% the speed of the M7, and is more than twice as fast as the MII utilizing the latest generation i5 processor from Intel.
It uses a passive heat-sink on the i5 to avoid the use of a CPU fan with a case fan that operates at less than 10 Hz so there's no fan noise.
Also inside this beast are the best and most quiet Western Digital 4TB hard drives which are designed to track each other more closely than any other drives on the market.
The MusicII already has spectacular performance, but the MIIUltra includes the SOTM USB output card for what is surely the best USB output in any server avaiable. The fact that the MIIUltra has the ultimate USB-out means it's suitable for the best DACs with USB-in and will easily play any DSD file format or Hi Resolution PCM. These formats are played effortlessly on the MIIUltra.
The MIIUltra shares the same enclosure as the other Music Vaults, which provides excellent cooling for a longer lasting Server.

Thank you so much for the MV Pearl. It is just what I needed. I waited a few days to e-mail you just to make sure there were no kinks to work out.
I can't believe how fast and easy it is to rip perfect sounding files (FLAC). I'm only now mastering the ID Tag interface, but I'm getting better.
I think this unit is a great value for the price, and I hope you can make many more for other audiophiles.
